Buck-Taylor Earns Independent Party Endorsement For State Representative
September 7, 2012Cecilia Buck-Taylor was officially notified by the Secretary of the State that Buck-Taylor has also been endorsed by the Independent Party and will appear on the November 6th ballot in both the Republican line and the Independent line.
Cecilia Buck-Taylor and more than fifty State Representative and Senate candidates were praised by the Independent Party Secretary, Dr. Robert Fand. He stated that
“The Independent Party knows that all of the endorsed candidates understand that if the state is to get out of its debt crisis without raising onerous taxes, then 36 years of unrestrained uncontrolled Democratic one party rule in the state legislature must end. The candidates will collectively work to inspire the spirit of entrepreneurship across the state and work to remove suffocating over-regulation that is stifling the creation of new businesses that would create the jobs CT so desperately needs. The Independent
Party wishes all candidates success in November.”
Cecilia Buck-Taylor, a resident of Connecticut since 1987, is proud to be endorsed by both the Republican Party and the Independent Party. Buck-Taylor knows that her common sense principles of spending no more than we make, borrowing only what we can afford to pay back in a reasonable period of time with no tax increases, eliminating or revising programs that no longer serve the people or are no longer economically sustainable and restricting the government’s ability to use taxes to redistribute our hard earned dollars are all in keeping with the principles of both parties.
Buck-Taylor is committed to going to Hartford and making sure that we use government to help people build bridges to opportunities and not dead end streets paved with entitlements.
