Buck-Taylor to Participate in New Milford Hospital’s Community PanelOctober 14, 2014
NEW MILFORD — State Rep. Cecilia Buck-Taylor will participate in a series of panel discussions over the next 12 months that are designed to give New Milford Hospital leadership insight in guiding the future direction for programs and services there.
Buck-Taylor, who serves the 67th House District, will be part of the Community Panel for New Milford Hospital, an ad-hoc group of the hospital’s Community Advisory Board. The committee’s goal is to collaborate with community constituents and represent a voice to senior hospital leadership and the Board in helping identify the most appropriate role for the hospital in a changing healthcare arena.
“New Milford Hospital is an significant force in the physical and economic health of many lives in our region. Collecting feedback and ideas from people who depend on the hospital is an effort that’s critical to ensuring our hospital continues to have an influential impact on everyone’s future here,” said Buck-Taylor, a local attorney and business owner. “I’m honored to have been asked to participate, and I look forward to sharing ideas and comments with other esteemed members of this panel.”
The panel will meet twice this fall, followed by a proposed bimonthly schedule next year.
