Representative Buck-Taylor, R-New Milford, welcomed the New Milford Youth Agency to Hartford and explained her job as their delegate, while encouraging them to be civically engaged and active in their community in a positive manner. The group of 13 to 18 year olds, led by Youth Advocate Stacey Kabasakalian, spent a few hours touring the State Capitol complex.
“These youth are the future of New Milford and of the state,” Representative Buck-Taylor said. “The positive opportunities the Youth Agency provides to these students can inspire them to reach farther, to pursue new accomplishments and to become responsible, intelligent, active members of the community. I wish these kids and their program the best, and thoroughly enjoyed meeting them.”
